Previously, I introduced some board games suitable for multiplayer at party. This time, I will introduce several board games with less than 5 players, which are suitable for small gatherings. Below are the games I often played with newcomers, and I recommend choosing one or two to keep at home.

Azul

This is a beautifully crafted board game with a super high appearance and won a lot of awards，which is the highest ranked game in today's introduction (currently ranked 54th). To score high in this game requires a certain strategy. Rule is very simple. The theme is tile. You need to fill the left grid with tiles, and you can move to the right at the end of the round. When someone completes a line and the game ends (usually 5 rounds). If not planned well, marks will be deducted if some tiles are not used. This game is more popular with girls because of its high appearance.

Splendor 

It only takes about 5-10 minutes to explain the rules. It is a very simple game. The main idea is to keep accumulating gems to buy cards. The cards themselves can replace gems, and then the cards and the accumulated gems can buy more advanced cards and keep accumulating. Finally, if any player gets 15 points, the game enters the final round and scoring mode.

Century: Golem Edition

Like Glittering Jewels, this version of Golem Edition is a bit better than the original version (this version is a gem, the original is a wood block). It is also a game where you usually save gems and cards and buy cards to score points. Once a player gets 5 stone statue cards, the game enters the final round, and the score is scored. The slight difference is that the cards here need to be played, while the Glittering Jewels are bought to permanently produce so many gems. The rule is also 5-10 minutes.

Carcassonne

Carcassonne is a strategy game of land occupation disk. Players take turns to open the card, spell it on the existing territory, and then decide whether to occupy it. Different occupation strategies have different scores, such as road 1 point and Castle 2 points. After the occupied target is closed, people can be taken back and scored (such as building a road). Finally, the score will be calculated after the cards are laid out. It belongs to a game that requires a little brain, but the process is simple and easy.

Kingdomino

It's a very easy little game, players need to create a 5x5 Mini kingdom from the random Kingdomino cards. Domino cards are printed with different landforms, and the score will be higher when they are connected. The person who takes first can choose the position of the next round. Usually, the cards with higher scores will be ranked in the behind position. So, there is a delicate balance. If you choose the card with high score in this round, you will be behind in the next round. Also, when the cards are used up, they start scoring.
